Glasgow_exhibition_article_detail

The Further Tale of Peter Rabbit™ exhibition celebrates the life of Peter Rabbit, from his early beginnings in a picture letter written by Beatrix Potter in 1893, through to the publication of Emma Thompson’s story in 2012. This will be the first chance to see Eleanor Taylor's original artwork for the new book, on public display for the very first time.

Get up-close to a selection of Beatrix Potter’s famous original illustrations from The Tale of Peter Rabbit and learn how Peter Rabbit was based on Beatrix’s own pet rabbit. Step behind the scenes of The Further Tale of Peter Rabbit, explore Emma Thompson’s new adventure and see how, through her stunning illustrations, Eleanor Taylor has brought a host of new characters to life.

A fantastic and imaginative exhibition for the whole family to enjoy. A range of Peter Rabbit™ books and merchandise will also be on sale in the retail shop.

Since I live in the U.S I won't be visiting the exhibition, but I certainly will be buying the book and sharing it with my grandchildren. It would be lovely if there was going to be an exhibition or a public appearance by Ms Thompson here in the U.S.

I think it's great there a new story to the Peter Rabbit Stories, I just love Peter Rabbit I read
the story to my daughter when she was a child and that was 20 years ago. The fabric and collectibles are so cute. I look forward to spring every year to see what will be available.
    Sincerely, Linda
