Jardins

Fragonard, Monet, Cézanne, Klimt, Picasso and Matisse. The greatest artists celebrated the garden and transformed, thanks to their talent, this enclosed space into a world of freedom and imagination. They gave birth to some of the masterpieces of art history. The Grand Palais brings them together in an extraordinary exhibition which, from the Renaissance to the present day, traces six centuries of creation around the garden. Paintings, sculptures, photographs, drawings, installations, sound and olfactory environments lead us on an immersive and poetic journey. A unique “garden” walk that makes the spring call resonate.
