The Royal Ballet lights up the festive season with an enchanting double bill of works by Frederick Ashton. Mrs Tiggy-winkle, Squirrel Nutkin, Mr. Jeremy Fisher and a host of other characters come to life in wonderful woodland scenes in Tales of Beatrix Potter. With costumes which perfectly convey the essence of the famous animal characters, this is one of The Royal Ballet's most captivating ballets.
It is joined by Les Patineurs, which evokes an Edwardian skating party, and is one of Ashton's happiest and most charming pieces. Tickets go on sale to the general public from 20th October, so be quick to secure your tickets. It is sure to sell out quickly!
To coincide with the Tales of Beatrix Potter ballet returning to the Royal Opera House, Peter Rabbit has taken pride of place in the Royal Opera House shop.
So if you are visiting Covent Garden in London for some festive cheer, be sure to visit the shop (enter via the rotating doors next to Paper Chase/Fred Perry stores in the Covent Garden piazza). Peter Rabbit books and gifts will also be on sale.
